OCULUS Project


Meeting in Barcelona, from12th to 14th of February 2019The Terrassa Faculty of Optics and Optometry participates in the European project "Optometry Currículum Update for Lifelong Learning through Erasmus - OCULUS" " (Grant Agreement 574.067-EPP-1-2016-1-NO- EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

The objective of this project is to support the modernization, accessibility and internationalization of higher education in the field of optometry in the partner countries of the European Union that participate in the project. In this way, the OCULUS project will develop resources to harmonize optometric education in these countries with the highest standard in Europe and will create evidence-based educational resources, among which direct work with real patients plays a fundamental role. The new educational resources will expand the scope of optometric practice and improve eye health care in partner countries.
