The validation plan follows the following guidelines:

  • Before signing the Learning Agreement with the destination university, it is necessary to formalize the Academic Agreement with the approval of the vice-dean of the RI and the head of the studies. This agreement lists the subjects to be taken at the destination and the corresponding ones to be validated upon return.
  • Keep in mind that the mandatory subjects of the GOO of the FOOT that cannot be taken at the destination university or validated, will have to be taken at the FOOT upon return. This may impact enrollment in subsequent subjects.
  • It is easier to validate optional subjects than mandatory subjects due to the differences in the study plans of the different universities.
  • In some cases, only subjects taken at the destination can be validated as optional subjects.
  • Not all destination universities allow you to take the TFG in Erasmus mobility.
  • The subjects of Clinical Optometry (OCI and OCII) and Clinical Contactology (CCI and CCII) generally cannot be validated since the destination universities do not offer subjects with real clinical practice.
  • If during the stay there is a change in the "Learning Agreement", this change will be previously agreed upon by the vice dean of RI and the Head of Studies, and will be reflected in a new Academic Agreement.
  • If the student does not pass any of the subjects at the destination, the validation plan will need to be re-evaluated.
