The School
The Faculty of Optics and Optometry of Terrassa (FOOT) is an educational center located at the Campus de Terrassa, which belongs to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
FOOT offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). In the first cycle, the studies of Bachelor's Degree in Optics and Optometry are taught. With these studies, all the competencies of the optician/optometrist profession are acquired. In the second cycle, the official studies of the Master's Degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences are taught, which provide students with specialization in the fields of optometry and also prepare them to collaborate in multidisciplinary research teams in the field of Vision Sciences and Clinical Optometry, thus providing access to third-cycle studies leading to the doctoral degree.
The Faculty has always worked in contact with professionals and industries in the sector, where our students and graduates are highly valued, and with which there are educational cooperation agreements so that students can carry out external internships. In fact, the Faculty coordinates a Board where the most important companies and professional organizations in the sector participate. Currently, the number of students at our Faculty is close to 500.
FOOT regularly collaborates with various charitable initiatives aimed at bringing visual health to all sectors of society, both in developing countries and in Catalonia.

University Vision Center
The University Vision Center (CUV), is the clinic of the Faculty of Optics and Optometry, where students carry out clinical practices and put to the test all the knowledge they have acquired throughout their studies.

How to Get There?
Terrassa is close to Barcelona, approximately about 25 km away. Our city can be reached by various means. From Barcelona, it's a 20-minute drive and a 40-minute train ride (FGC and RENFE).
FOOT is located within the UPC Campus in Terrassa. This campus is located within the city and consists of several schools. Although there is a minimum distance between them, in some cases, they are located on different streets.
Where to Park?
The nearest public parking is located at Av. Barcelona.
