To stay in touch with all future students interested in our studies and to be able to resolve your doubts and concerns, we want to offer you an alternative: Virtual Open Doors.

OPEN DOOR DAYS:

  • April 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM (online) - REGISTRATION OPEN - Register by filling out the following form
  • April 18, 2026, at 10:30 AM (in-person)

Once you attend the online Open Day, you will be able to register for the in-person Open Day via email; they are complementary to each other.

This is an online information session about the Bachelor's Degree in Optics and Optometry, unique in Catalonia, so that you have the opportunity to get to know the Faculty of Optics and Optometry of Terrassa, as well as to send us your doubts and queries so we can resolve them in real time.

In-Person Open Day Session

Tour in small groups led by professors through the FOOT facilities (laboratories, classrooms, services, etc.) and the University Vision Center (the Faculty's clinic), optometric offices, glasses assembly and dispensing area, complementary testing rooms, auditorium, etc.

The virtual session will be structured in two parts:

First part: 30 - 40 minutes

  • Welcome, by Aurora Torrents, Dean of the Faculty of Optics and Optometry of Terrassa.
  • Presentation of the Faculty and university services of the UPC and the Terrassa Campus: library, RESA residences, and public transport, by Francisco J. Burgos, Vice-dean of Communication and Social Commitment.
  • Presentation of the Bachelor's Degree studies in Optics and Optometry, by Marc Argilés Sans, Vice-dean and Head of Undergraduate Studies.
  • Presentation of the University Vision Center (CUV, FOOT Clinic), by the CUV Management.
  • Presentation of the FOOT Student Delegation, by Chaymae Ezrouki, the Student Delegate.
  • The FOOT from the inside, by Joan Enric Escudero.

Second part: 30 - 40 minutes

  • Open Q&A session, where you can ask us any questions and queries you may have.

To follow the session more easily, once you access the video conference, you will need to turn off your microphones. Once we begin the Q&A session, you can write your queries and requests to speak in the chat, and then you can open your microphones one by one to ask your questions.
