FOOT Talent Day: Professional Future and Talent Acquisition "Made in FOOT"

The International Day of Light will be celebrated on May 16, 2026, decreed by UNESCO with the aim of recognizing the importance of the advances and contributions of light to the development of all areas of human life.

The Foot Talent Day connects the future with the business world.

A session of cinema and debate under the influence of lighting, navigation and optical instruments presents Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (Peter Weir), to reflect on the relationship between optics, optometry and science.

Once again, the FOOT Mapathon has been an awareness day to detect accessibility barriers in the Faculty's environment and promote a more inclusive city for all.

On Tuesday, May 19th, at 11:00 a.m., the students will read the manifesto in commemoration of the International Day Against LGBTIQphobia.
