Visit to Grupo Prats

Last Monday, June 15, the students of the Spectacle Fitting course at FOOT experienced a day of practical learning outside the classroom. The students had the opportunity to visit the main facilities of Grupo Prats in Sant Boi de Llobregat, getting a first-hand look at the operations of one of the major leaders in the ophthalmic optics sector.

A leading multinational

What began as a small project has transformed today into a leading Spanish multinational that, despite its major expansion, still keeps its founding values of proximity and independence intact. Currently, Grupo Prats has a solid global infrastructure:

• 4 state-of-the-art laboratories located in Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, and San José, Costa Rica.

• Commercial subsidiaries in Mexico and Colombia.

• International presence, distributing its products to a total of 22 countries.
