Next Tuesday, 3 February, from 10:00 a.m., the Joan Salvadó Auditorium at the Terrassa School of Optics and Optometry (FOOT) will host a joint event that this year brings together, on the same day and in the same venue, the Welcome Session for the University Master’s Degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences, the FOOT Research Day, and the Research Day of the Department of Optics and Optometry (DOO).
Welcome Session for the University Master’s Degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences (10:00–11:00 a.m.)
Welcome session for students of the University Master’s Degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Joan Salvadó Auditorium of the University Vision Centre, aimed at welcoming MUOCV students and presenting the main academic and organisational aspects of the master’s programme.
FOOT Research Day: Showcasing Faculty Research (11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)
FOOT Research Day, under the title Showcasing Faculty Research, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., during which several FOOT lecturers will present their projects, bringing the School’s research activity closer to the university community and to master’s students.
Research Day of the Department of Optics and Optometry (12:00–2:00 p.m.)
Research Day at the Department of Optics and Optometry from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., jointly organised with the Doctoral Programme in Optical Engineering. The session will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a brief introduction by Professor Lluïsa Quevedo.
Poster session, from 12:05 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the participation of DOO research groups and doctoral students. This session will provide an opportunity to learn about various research projects carried out within the Department, with coffee and pastries, fostering a relaxed environment for exchange and discussion.
Oral presentations, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., given by doctoral candidates from the Department.
