Incoming students
Erasmus students are offered to join a set of subjects in English, only taught in the autumn semestre.Erasmus mobility courses in Optometry (FOOT) offered to INCOMING students:
*The latter subject is voluntary and will not show in the stduents Transfer of Records (ToR), although a certificat from the Language and Terminology Service at UPC will be signed, in case the sending University wishes to recognise it.The rest of subjects are not offered in English, but in the local language (Catalan or Spanish) and therefore students will require knowledge of the local language.
For clinical placements and enrolement in clinical modules, an A2 catalan or spanish language level acreditation will be required.

Before you arrive:
- Documentation: Once your nomination has been received and approved, the following information will be required prior to your arrival
- Photocopy of your passport,
- Transcript of Records,
- a photo of yourself,
- copy of your international insurance,
- copy of your current nomination as Erasmus student and number of ECTS you have enrolled in your home
university, (as in your Learning agreement).

Arrival and registration
- Introductory session
before the first day of term (Autum term starts in early september and Spring term starts in early February),
although students will be informed of the definitive date.

Registration
- Register for specific subjects at the FOOT secretary’s office (you will be asked to provide proof of having
registered/being a current student at your home university and also of your current international insurance)
- Register with the police (EU and non-EU students).
Before your return
- Collect the certificate of attendance
from Maria Calvet (gestio.academica.foot
upc.edu) at the secretary’s office.
- You will not need to collect your marks as they will be sent to your university directly.
