Optometry is the science devoted to the study and treatment of non-medical sight disorders, such as:
- Refractive defects (myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism)
- Binocular vision disorders (strabismus, lazy eye)
- Learning problems
- Accommodation disorders
- Color blindness
- Eyestrain
